Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website at grittbusinesscoaching.com ("Site") or engaging any services provided by GRITT Business Coaching ("GRITT," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site or our services.

2. Services

GRITT provides business coaching, training programs, workshops, conferences, and advisory services to businesses and their leadership teams. Specific services, scope, pricing, and deliverables are outlined in individual service agreements and enrollment confirmations provided separately.

Information on this Site about our services, pricing, and programs is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute a binding offer. All service engagements require execution of a separate agreement.

3. Payment Terms

Payment terms for GRITT services are specified in individual service agreements. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Invoices are due within 30 days of the invoice date.
  • Monthly retainer engagements are billed in advance at the start of each month.
  • Event registrations (Summit, Leadership Academy, CDA Institute, etc.) are non-refundable unless cancelled by GRITT.
  • Workshop fees (Profit & Cash®, Data-Driven EI Workshop) are invoiced following booking confirmation.

Late payments may be subject to a 1.5% monthly service charge. GRITT reserves the right to suspend services for accounts more than 60 days past due.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by service type and are specified in individual service agreements. General guidelines:

  • Monthly retainer engagements: Either party may terminate with 30 days' written notice. Fees paid for the current period are non-refundable.
  • Event registrations: Cancellations more than 30 days prior to the event may receive a credit toward a future GRITT event. No refunds within 30 days of the event.
  • Workshop bookings: Cancellations with less than 14 days' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee as specified in the booking agreement.

If GRITT cancels an event or service, you will receive a full refund or credit, at your option.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site - including text, graphics, logos, images, and program materials - is the property of GRITT Business Coaching and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Program materials, frameworks, assessments, and tools provided during GRITT engagements are licensed to clients for internal business use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from GRITT materials without prior written consent.

Profit & Cash® is a registered trademark. SmartHire™ and related GRITT marks are trademarks of GRITT Business Coaching. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

6. Confidentiality

GRITT treats all client business information with strict confidentiality. We do not share proprietary client information with third parties without consent, except as required by law or as necessary to provide the services (e.g., assessments delivered through certified third-party platforms).

Clients agree to maintain the confidentiality of GRITT proprietary materials, methodologies, and frameworks shared during the engagement.

7. Limitation of Liability

GRITT's services involve coaching, training, and advisory support - not guaranteed business outcomes. Results depend on the commitment and execution of the client organization. GRITT makes no warranty, express or implied, that our services will produce specific financial or operational results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GRITT's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client in the three months preceding the claim.

GRITT shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

9. Website Use

You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You may not use the Site to transmit harmful, offensive, or unlawful content, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its systems.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Site at any time without notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
